Children's Ministries

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs." - Matthew 19:14 (NRSV)

Sunday School

Our nursery, Pre-K room, and children's Sunday school classrooms begin at 10am on Sunday mornings! The nursery and Pre-K room are fully stocked with age-appropriate toys, activities, and resources for even the littlest child of God to have a joyful time at church. Sunday school for kindergarteners through high schoolers includes an opening game or activity, a lesson, and a time of prayer.

All ages 5 and above are invited to join us for Sunday worship at 11am. The nursery and Pre-K rooms are open for kids ages 0-4 to play and fellowship together during our 11am worship service.

Playground Project

We have been hard at work renovating our playground so it is welcoming, inviting, and FUN for children of all ages! Our playground has swings for babies and toddlers, swings for the big kid in all of us, a basketball net, and a play set with two slides, rock wall feature, and a wheel and binoculars for imaginative play! Come and embrace the kid in all of us!

Easter Egg Hunt

Easter is a great time in the church when we celebrate our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! We love to celebrate with our community by hosting an Easter egg hunt! We have three egg hunting areas - an open field for the littlest littles, the playground area for elementary aged kids, and an "advanced hunt" for older kids. The 2023 Easter egg hunt and hot dog luncheon is scheduled for Sunday, April 2 at 12:30pm!

Trunk-Or-Treat

Halloween is so much fun! Kids get to dress up, play make believe in the costume, and run home with a bag full of candy. We hope to provide a safe AND fun trick-or-treating experience by partnering with Pittsboro UMC to host a Trunk-Or-Treat event! Community members come together in a parking lot and decorate their vehicle trunk in a unique, imaginative way while kids go vehicle to vehicle trick-or-treating.

We will join Pittsboro UMC at their church campus in downtown Pittsboro for a community Trunk-Or-Treat event. Expect a lot of fun, unique trunk decorations, games, and other activities during this event! Join us for this time of fun and fellowship!

Vacation Bible School

Our Vacation Bible School program is scheduled for 9am-2pm on Saturday, June 24. The theme/topic for 2023 is The Good Shepherd! We will host fully potty trained kids aged 4-years to rising-5th graders. Our VBS will include activities, arts & crafts, games, lunch, and worship! Use the link below to sign up today!
