Pastor Heidi Reddy is a womb to tomb United Methodist, and loves the UMC with all her heart!
She grew up in Clayton, NC, where her parents lived in the same house for 20 years. After high school, she attended Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA. At RMC, she was a member of the A. Purnell Bailey Pre-Ministerial Scholarship Program, a program for students discerning and answering a call to ministry. She graduated from RMC with a B.A. in Religious Studies and a minor in English-Writing. After RMC, she continued her higher education studies at Duke Divinity School in Durham, NC. At Duke Divinity, she was a member of the Duke Endowment Thriving Rural Communities Scholarship Program, a program for students discerning and answering a call to rural church ministry.
Pastor Heidi's ministerial passions include creation care, pastoral visitation and care, and reminding people that faith and ideas as small as a mustard seed can grow into something beautiful and blessed in and with the power of the Holy Spirit!
Her hobbies include baking, hiking, and kayaking. She loves to be outside, and she loves to connect the blessings of God's creation with everyday tasks and activities.
She married her husband, Ian Reddy, November 2019. They welcomed their first child November 2021. They also have a two fur babies, Stella and Hahns.
